Just a quick drive from the ranch & is right off the Blue Ridge Parkway.  Plan to leave 2 hours prior to sunset.  Drive time is approx. 40 minutes.  You can pack a picnic dinner or stop in Waynesville for a bucket of chicken at KFC.  They have a few picnic tables up there, but go early enough to get a spot!
